Make Sweets More Satisfying with #PeanutPower

Can you have a meal without dessert? I certainly don’t think so. But is it possible to end dinner with something sweet that isn’t over indulgent? It is possible with fresh fruits and peanuts from nature’s bounty. At a recent Twitter Party, hosts LizVentures (@blueviolet), Dr. Julia Nordgren (@DrJuliaCooks) and our registered dietitian, Sherry Coleman Collins (@PeanutRD) gave tips and advice for serving more satisfying sweets with peanuts.

The party kicked off with the recommendation for attendees to watch Dr. Julia’s latest recipe video on a simple and satisfying peanut chocolate bark.

Over 300 people joined in the conversation and answered questions about desserts. Party attendees also received useful nougats (I mean nuggets) of information for making desserts more nutritious, less indulgent and more satisfying by adding ingredients like peanuts and peanut butter, avocados, fruits, whole grains and even beans.
