Jewel has highlighted some amazing cookie swap recipes over the past few days and I’m excited to round out our picks with two recipes that caught my eye. Between the two of us, you’re bound to find several treats to share and satisfy your and your friends’ cravings for peanuts and peanut butter.

The traditional peanut butter cookie has always been a part of the holiday cookie lineup. And you would be hard-pressed to find a more perfectly delicious or simple treat—but we can sure try! These Halfway to Heaven Peanut Butter Cookies from Broma Bakery sandwich peanut butter filling between two peanut butter cookies made with oats to pump up the texture.

Sarah added tasty a tip about the recipe on the Broma Bakery post: “If you take them out before the cookies fully bake, because they are so delicate, they will continue to bake on the cookie sheet while cooling and end up perfectly moist and chewy.” Yum!

If you’re looking for something off the beaten (cookie) path, you’re almost guaranteed to get oohs and ahhs at your swap with this Chocolate-Orange Peanut Bark from The Urban Spork. With peanuts, chocolate and orange zest, it’s a cookie that gets straight to the good stuff.

“This treat has a perfect balance,” said the recipe tester, “the slight bitterness of orange zest and a sprinkling of salt round out the richness of the chocolate and nuts.”

Check out all of the recipes we highlighted in Part 1 and Part 2. Happy cooking!
