Peanut Butter and Jelly Burgers

Ingredients

4 buns

4 hamburger patties

4 slices of cheese

8 tablespoons creamy peanut butter

1 pound chopped bacon

1 onion peeled and diced

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 apple peeled and diced

Directions

Prep the apple bacon jam. Grill chopped bacon and reserve 1-2 tablespoons of bacon grease. Add onions and apples cooking until translucent. Add in brown sugar and bacon letting it simmer until caramelized. Stir frequently and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Cook your hamburger patties (grill 3-4 minutes per side), and melt cheese on top. Spread the creamy peanut butter on your buns. Top your hamburger patty with bacon jam and your peanut butter bun. Serve with fries or fruit.
