Pea-nutty Turmeric Latte

Ingredients

2 cups soy milk or milk of choice

1 teaspoon ground turmeric

1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

3 teaspoons peanut powder

1-2 teaspoons honey,  depending on desired sweetness

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)

Directions

Heat small saucepan over low heat. Add the milk, turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, peanut powder, honey and vanilla, and stir to until well-combined. Bring to steaming – just below a simmer -- for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Do not boil. Remove pan from heat. Stir vigorously. Taste and add cayenne pepper if using.
