NPB’s Lindsay Stevens presenting at theOklahoma Peanut Expo
The National Peanut Board (NPB) hit the road in a big way this winter and spring, showing up strong at seven major grower meetings across the peanut belt, including the Georgia Peanut Farm Show, Alabama-Florida Peanut Trade Show, South Carolina Grower Meeting, Mississippi Growers Association Meeting, Virginia Growers Meeting, Florida Peanut Producers Annual Meeting, and Oklahoma Peanut Expo. Along the way, NPB connected with thousands of peanut farmers and industry stakeholders, sharing fresh insights, sparking new ideas, and building real momentum for the future of peanuts.
At each stop, NPB showcased standout results from 2025. From dynamic college campus activations to influencer partnerships and retail campaigns, the focus on health and wellness delivered big: millions of impressions, strong engagement and impressive returns. Programs like the Health Nut Club brought peanuts directly into the lifestyles of Gen Z, highlighting their role as a go-to fuel for busy, active days. Even better, farmers who attended these events got a firsthand look at how their product is resonating with younger audiences in authentic, meaningful ways.
NPB also highlighted major strides in peanut allergy research and education. Through early introduction initiatives and strategic partnerships with healthcare providers, outreach expanded to thousands of professionals and families. These efforts are making a measurable difference, contributing to a reported 43% reduction in peanut allergies among young children. At the same time, progress in foodservice continues to grow, with more universities and K-12 schools reintroducing peanuts onto menus.
Additionally, NPB shared an ambitious and unified vision for 2026, bringing the industry together under a bold, cohesive brand while unlocking new opportunities for growth. The excitement was contagious, as growers leaned in and asked how they can activate the new brand locally, champion its message in their communities, and play a hands-on role in shaping the future of peanuts like never before.
As the meetings wrapped up, one thing was clear: the peanut industry isn’t just moving forward, it’s accelerating. With strong grower support, proven programs, and a bold vision for what’s next, NPB is helping lead the charge toward a more connected, innovative, and resilient future.
