Apple Peanut Butter Pastry

Puff pastry filled with a sweet apple peanut butter filling. A delightful treat for any time of the day.
Ingredients
- 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
- 1 tablespoon flour, for rolling pastry
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter (warmed in microwave-safe container) (more if needed to cover pastry)
- 3 large apples, sliced thinly
- 1/3 cup peanuts, for garnish
- 1/4 cup honey, for garnish
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon sugar, for garnish

Directions
- Heat oven to 400 degrees F. Using flour, roll out pastry to the size of a sheet pan on parchment paper. Place pastry in sheet pan and using hands, roll up the sides of the pastry. Prick pastry with fork all over.
- Warm peanut butter in microwave until it’s thinned. Spread peanut butter on pastry and arrange sliced apples on top, overlapping.
- Bake at 400 degrees F for 15 – 20 minutes, or until golden brown. Drizzle pastry with honey, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and spread chopped peanuts over pastry before serving.
