Chai Spiced Peanut Butter Cookies

Soft and crunchy peanut butter cookies infused with warm chai spices. A delightful treat for peanut butter and chai lovers.

Ingredients

For the Chai Spice

  • 1 teaspoon cardamom pods
  • 1 teaspoon whole black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cloves
  • Use a spice or coffee grinder to make a fine powder. Set aside.

For the Cookies

  • 1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons chai spice
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Combine the dry ingredients and beat together the wet ingredients, and then beat to combine the two.
